奋战赛场，百折不挠 | 燃爆了！力迈秋天的第一场足球国际性联赛

forward to our next game. Our U14 football team will be playing against Daystar Academy October 14 th .

For most of the boys this was their first trip to another school campus for a sporting event as well as their first ever competitive football match and it showed, the energy and excitement was high.

We started off against Kaiwen with Rain in goal, our defenders were Max and Daniel. Gary, Tiger and Damon made up our midfield and Lucas played up front. From the start the boys looked dominant but 2 quick goals by Kaiwen meant we were 2-0 down at half time despite some good defending.

We scored early into the 2nd half thanks to Damon who took advantage of a defensive error by Kaiwen. Although we had majority of possession, we couldn’t find the equalizer and went down 2-1 in the boys first fixture. Our first ever loss to Kaiwen. Unfortunately we lost our second game against SMIC by a much bigger scoreline as they scored far too many unanswered goals due a combination of good football on their part and inexperienced legs on ours.

All in all it was a great day of gaining footballing experience for the boys as every player in the treling squad got minutes on the field of play. We’d like to thank Kaiwen for hosting us.
